iphoneを使用し始めてから、半年あまり。基本的なアプリはダウンロード済みですが、実にいろいろなアプリがあります。個人的には、中国語関係や、Skype、fring、Echofon、nike＋やニュース関係やお天気、どれも実用的なものしか使用できていませんが、これでは宝の持ち腐れです。そこで、色々なアプリを試していこうと思いました。
正確さは、若干こちらの方が上かと感じましたが、どちらもタイムラグはありますので、今後の改善が楽しみです。こちら、有料のアプリも出ています→Speed Box(¥450)
ちなみに、息子たちには結構好評でした。どこで速度を測定しているのとか、iPhoneと車とはどことも接続していないのにどうして測定できるの？などと、不思議そうに見ていました。

今回、iPhoneでスピードを測定できるアプリを試してみました。
こちらは、iPhoneやiPadにインストールし、車やバイクに乗るとスピードメーターを表示します。
画面はデジタル表示で、時速／Km又はマイルかを設定する事ができます。これ以外に難しい設定はいりません。初めは、たったこれだけで本当に測定できるのか疑問でしたが、車が加速すると、すぐに速度が表示されました。
使用した感想としては、正直タイムラグが気になりました。これは、フリーのソフトなので仕方ありませんが、正確さに関しては、まだまだ改善が必要です。普通のガソリン車（１５００ccクラス）とトヨタのハイブリッド車（2500cc以上クラス）の両方では、違いがあるのかどうかも試してみましたが、タイムラグた誤差の関しては、顕著な違いは見られませんでした。スピードが出ている時の方が、正確な速度が出ていたように思うので、次は、高速で測定してみたいと思います。（軽自動車は、所持していないので試していません）
こちらも、同じようなアプリですが、表示画面が３種類から選ぶ事ができます。時速／Km、マイル、ノットを選択できます。画面には時速と走行距離が表示されます。
車以外でも、新幹線や船、飛行機（電源を入れられないので、実際には不可能だと思いますが）、バイク、自転車、スキー、もしかすると陸上でも測定できるかもしれません。用途の可能性は広がります。次回は、自動車以外でも色々試してみようと思います。
この他にも、Speed Mate（有料）などたくさんあるようです。

一ついえるのは、DSiなどのゲーム機で遊ぶより、こういったアプリを体験したりする方が、よっぽど好奇心を刺激するということです。昨日突然iPhoneのイヤホンが壊れてしまったので、朝から心斎橋のアップル直営店に行きましたが、子供連れの家族や、外国人が多かったです。教育ソフトも多く、思わず店頭のiPadやiPhone4,iPod Touch,iMacなどすべて、実際に見て、触ってきました。子供にはiPad、家には27インチのiMacがあれば、更に楽しくなりそうです！
This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
Nice Info! But I'm having some problems trying to read your blog. I have read it many times before and never gotten something like this, but now when I try to load something it just takes a little while (5-10 minutes ) and then just stops. I hope i don't have a virus or something. Does anyone know what the issue could be?
